Here’s a handy round up of activities in our community this Easter Break. Don’t forget to read, practice handwriting, and of course get out and have some adventures! We return to school on Tuesday 18th April.
Epic Partners Community Games are back for the Easter holidays. Activities include football, multi sports, arts and crafts, music, kickboxing, basketball and an egg hunt. They will also be offering trips to MFA Bowling, Quasar Elite and reward trips. The sessions are for ages 8 to 12 and are just £2 per child, or £3 per family. To find out more call 0115 837 2021.
Join The Greenway Centre this Easter for dance, multi sports, cookery, arts and crafts. The sessions are for ages 8 to 14 and cost £2 per child (per day). Stonebridge City Farm have a whole host of exciting activities this Easter. There will be animal handling, egg hatching, an egg picture hunt and a fairy tale day. Easter at the Windmill, there’s lots going on at Green’s Windmill this Easter! From Thursday 7 April to Saturday 9 April you can join the hunt for hidden eggs at the ‘Eggciting Easter Eggstravaganza’ from 10am to 3pm. It’s just £5 per child and you can win some amazing prizes! On Wednesday 12 April you can make your own delicious Easter inspired cakes for just £3 per child, or if biscuits are more your thing on Friday 14 April you can bake your own Easter themed biscuits for just £4 per child. Both sessions are from 11am to 2pm and are for ages 3 and over.
