A group of 14 children made their way to Derbyshire CCC for the day and were treated to a fantastic experience. The day started with an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the ground that Derbyshire play all of their home professional fixtures at. On this tour the children got to see the home and away changing rooms, the director's suite, the press box and even got to spend some time in the Sky Sports studio which is situated within the ground. After that the children broke for lunch where they were greeted by professional players Wayne Madsen, Anuj Dal and Luis Reece who answered questions from the children and provided the children with some inspirational words. After lunch the children were treated to their very own cricket session delivered by Anuj Dal and the enthusiasm was evident from all of the children. Everyone had a great day and a special mention must go out to our tour guide Tony who provided the children with mementos, stories and exclusive access to all areas of the ground.
