Year 6 Take on a Triathlon

Academy pupils met Becky Adlington at Nottingham Triathlon event. 

25 Year 6 pupils took part in a triathlon event recently. They got to watch the elite triathletes transition training and practising the route on their bikes. The children then took part in a mini triathlon. Ethan came first, Jardell second and Reuben third. Rebecca Adlington was there and she agreed to have a photo taken with budding swimmers Katherine and Reuben!. We even got to have a go at some first aid with St John's Ambulance and play some tennis and archery with Park Lives. It was a great day out!
