  • Multi-Activity Holiday Camp

    Children who attended the February half term Multi-Activity Holiday Camp had a fantastic time. 

    They took part in a variety of activities such as cricket, football, dodgeball, Olympic multi sports,
    Paralympic sports, table tennis, lacrosse, handball, basketball, hockey, arts and crafts, music, nerf wars and much more!

    There will be another camp during the Easter holidays, so keep an eye out for more information.

    The camps, which are held at Nottingham Academy, are run by Premier Sport.

  • Crazy socks day

    Pupils and staff have been invited to come to school in their craziest socks as part of a campaign called #Lotsofsocks.

    The aim is to raise awareness of World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday 21st March 2019.

    It will be a normal uniform day but we will be encouraging everyone to wear bright, patterned, odd socks.

  • Parents learn about SAT exams

    Nottingham Primary Academy invited year six parents to attend a SIT-A-SAT event on
    Monday 11th March.

    Parents took a peek at example SAT papers, as well as see how we teach the children specific strategies and prepare them for the tests.

    Each class participated in a different activity including Maths, Reading, SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar) and uplevelling spellings.


    Some parents also attended a meeting where they got to ask any questions regarding SATs.

  • Halal chicken consultation extended

    Nottingham Primary Academy has extended the parent consultation regarding the introduction of halal chicken to the school dinner menu.

    Halal chicken is not currently being served to primary pupils.

    To raise funds for Comic Relief, primary pupils can come to school in non-uniform for a donation of £1.

    Pupils can wear anything red. It would be great to see some red noses too.
