Traffic & Safety Concerns at NAP
Please read this article for the steps we are taking to improve the traffic and safety at Nottingham Academy Primary.
Traffic and Safety Concerns
We are aware that traffic issues on the Roads surrounding our School are posing a risk to our children and families safety. We are taking this very seriously and are taking serious measures to improve the situation.
Mr Jones, our Primary Principal has reached out to our Nottinghamshire Police Chief Constable, the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner and our local Councillor to ask for their support. The letter is attached below.
In the meantime, we ask all parents to be considerate of children and families walking to and from School and lining up outside the gates and please observe the below. These measures are in place for the safety of our School community.
At Sneinton Boulevard:
- No vehicles should be using the drive entrance from Greenwood Road
- No vehicles should park outside the School gates at the top of Sneinton Boulevard, on the yellow zigzag lines or use this area to drop off/pick up children or turn around your car.
At Greenwood Road:
- No vehicles should enter the Primary staff car park.
Thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.
