This year pupils at Nottingham Academy Primary spent lots of time revisiting the wonderful books by Roald Dahl and voted for their favourite character, 

The winner was Matilda, a very popular character with 178 votes! Matilda Wormwood is the clever, brave, book-loving girl from one of Roald Dahl's last published books  Matilda.

Road Dahl has always been a very popular author at Nottingham Academy and we look forward to reading his books all year and celebrating him again next September!
