Changes to pupils arrival for Year 4-6
Changes to how the children are collected at the start of the day and dismissed at the end of the day on Primary Site 2 (Sneinton Boulevard)
Year 4 and 5 children will now line up on the main large playground (please see map below.) Each class will be stood with their teacher behind a cone. A small pathway has been set out so the children can access this area from the main school building safely without having to walk through parents. Can we ask that parents wait in the area set out on the map to allow children to get to where they need to be and to wait for their child to be dismissed by the teacher before taking them from their line.
Year 6 will be dropped off and collected from the small playground (please see diagram overleaf.) Each class will be stood with their teacher behind a cone. To still allow access for parents walking through to the big playground, can we ask that parents wait in the area shown on the map and wait for their child to be dismissed by the teacher before taking them from their line.
As with all new systems, we are hoping this works as we trial it out over the next few days. At present, we believe this is the most practical and safest way of dismissing our children and avoiding congestion as you drop off and pick up your children. Please let us know if you have any feedback on the new system.
