Counselling

To all Parents, Carers and Young People I would like to introduce myself. My name is Linda and I come into school each Wednesday to offer counselling and support to young people. This means that I provide a safe, confidential place for pupils to talk about any worries or concerns they may have. Occasionally it might be useful for me to meet with parents to get a perspective on what difficulties they believe their child has and to find out how they think their child might benefit from counselling. Young people come to see me for many different reasons such as:  Behavioural problems, anger, temper tantrums, withdrawal  Depression, crying, anxiety  Low self-esteem  Social and relationship difficulties, including family breakup, bullying  Grief, loss or abandonment   If you or your child feel they would like to make an appointment to come and chat with me please speak to Mrs Coulson or your class teacher.
