Winter Poetry Competition
We've launched our annual winter poetry competition, entries are open until 15th December.
This weeks assemblies have been all about our annual winter poetry competition, inspired by the book "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe'. Pupils are invited to write a poem based on winter. The poem could be about:
- A winter wonderland
- An Ice Palace
- A wintry forest
- An ice rink
- Christmas
- Children playing in the snow
- Winter traditions
- Snow flakes
- The weather in winter
- Clothes you wear to keep warm
Children need to complete their entry with their name and class and hand it to teachers by Friday 15th December. Winners will be announced during the last week of term.
