Ellie raises £210 for Autism Awareness
Ellie in Year 3 and Mum Emma have raised a fantastic £210.50 for the school during Autism Awareness Week.
Mum had the idea for making bow ties and key rings and when sharing the idea of Facebook, realised that people really wanted to support.
On the first night she got over 75 requests and altogether made over 150 accessories. Ellie has written a scrap book about the fundraising. Mr Jones said “It’s great to see children and parents thinking about others who might find things more challenging than they do. The money will be put to use supporting children on the autistic spectrum.”
