This Wednesday, the 4th of October, Nottingham Academy Primary will be joining a number of other schools across the country by celebrating ‘No Pens Wednesday’.

Children all across the school will be putting down their pens in favour of speaking and listening activities to develop their communication skills. Art, literacy and maths lessons will be taken outside and children will be encouraged to work together and develop spoken language.

No Pens Wednesday was set up by The Communication Trust and is an annual event.
