To celebrate Father's day Nottingham Academy Primary ran a Reading with Dad workshop at Greenwood Road. 25 parents came to read with their children. During the workshop, we listened to stories, made pirate hats, used skimming and scanning to find hidden pirate objects and developed the children's vocabulary. The session had a lovely atmosphere and the children were delighted to see their parents in school. We finished it off with cookies and milk. A big thank you to everyone who came!
